The Museum is open every day, except on 1st January, on the 1st May and on the 25th December. Annual closure in 2024 : from 8th to 31st January.
Guided tours of the mining circuit are subject to availability (no reservations possible); due to the expected high number of visitors during the May bank holidays, it is advisable to arrive as early in the day as possible. When guided tours are no longer available, you can still visit the site and exhibitions on your own at a reduced rate.
